THE Na Gaeil GAA Clubhouse hosted its annual race night on Friday and it proved to be the most successful to date.
Taking place on the eve of the county senior semi-final — where several of the club’s footballers will be involved with St Brendan’s — the race night was also broadcast virtually on Facebook Live.
Club Chairman Tim Chairman expressed his gratitude to all those who supported the event, with all funds raised going back into the running of the club.

“We sold over 180 horses, but it’s the support for the advertisements which has blown us away. The generosity of the local community has been great.”
“It’s a really successful period for the club — we’re in the Intermediate Club Final and we have a sizeable contingent involved in the Kerry county semi-final tomorrow with St Brendan’s so we need all the money we can get to keep the club going,” added Tim.
Those present enjoyed a great night of racing action with the Na Gaeil Gold Cup and a first prize of €1,000.
There were also prizes for the best dressed lady and gent, along with some special guest interviews, finger food and spot prizes. Scroll down for photos…
