IT was standing room only in St John’s Church on Friday afternoon as over 200 students celebrated the end of their schooldays.
The Mercy Mounthawk Graduation Day was another emotional affair as the seven classes and Leaving Cert Applied students gathered with their families to mark the milestone in their lives.
It was an emotional occasion for all with Principal John O’Roarke wishing all the students well in the exams and in their future endeavours.

He also encouraged the students to thank their parents for the support they have given them over the years and said they will be there for them as they embark the next chapter in their lives.
There was a huge crowd gathered in the sunshine outside the church afterwards to pose for photos, before the students headed off for further celebrations. Scroll down for photos…
