FOR the third year in a row, the people at Tralee Local Employment Services (LES) held a Christmas coffee morning on Thursday to help out a local organisation.
There were wall-to-wall Christmas jumpers at their office at North Circular Road with people from local agencies and employers associated with Tralee LES showing up to make a contribution and enjoy some cakes and coffees in aid of St Mary of the Angels in Beaufort.
Marie Dennehy was the star organiser and she collected around spot prizes from 80 businesses, generously donated from local businesses for the raffle, which included vouchers and hampers.

In the end, they collected a whopping €2,004 and Tralee LES Co-ordinator, Elaine McKenna, wanted to thank everyone for attending and contributing to the cause.
“We couldn’t have done this without everyone who contributed and we’re indebted to all the businesses throughout the town. Thanks to all the staff of NEWKD and their families and all our clients for supporting the cause,” she said. Scroll down for photos…
