THERE was colour, noise and style on The Mall on Saturday afternoon as the Paco store once again held one of their famous fundraisers.

Eileen Whelan and friends welcomed all to an ‘Afternoon Tea’ fundraiser in aid of Chernobyl Children’s Fund Tralee & District.

There were fashion shows from the models, plenty of home baking and the weather thankfully played ball which made for an enjoyable few hours for passing shoppers who were generous in their donations.

In fact, around €1,000 was raised which was the highest amount gathered in a single event at the store.

“We’re delighted,” said Eileen Whelan. “I want to thank everyone for coming. The people of Tralee once again showed how caring and generous they are. People donated cakes and other home baking while businesses gave some lovely spot prizes for the raffle. I want to thank everyone who helped out today and hopefully it will help towards bringing children over to Ireland for some respite,” said Eileen. Scroll down for photos…
