Tralee Parnell’s played in the preliminary round of the Kerry Intermediate Hurling Championship last night in Caherslee.
It’s almost one hundred years since a team playing under the name Parnells has played in adult hurling championship game.
Parnells led by five points at half time 0-06 to 1-08. Abbeydorney, who were depleted having lost eleven players to the senior championship last Saturday, found it difficult to compete with Parnells in the second half and Parnells ran out easy winners in the end. Scroll down for photos…
