THERE was a great turnout for the launch of a CD by two local musicians, all for a great cause in The Rose Hotel last night.
Pat Pierse and John Buggy, aka ‘The Crackers’, recorded ‘A Christmas Hug’ “for a bit of a laugh” and decided that all the proceeds from sales will go to the Inspired group on Friary Lane.
The lads wrote the song last year but decided to release it this Christmas for charity and the response has been great. They played the single along with a number of other songs on the night.

There was a big crowd from Inspired at the event on Friday, along with friends and family of the two lads and many well wishers.
The CD can be bought from Inspired, Ballyseedy Garden Centre, Roger Harty Opticians in Boherbee and Tralee Chamber Alliance in Denny Street.
Inspired is a community initiative based in Tralee where participants with an intellectual disability come from Tralee, Listowel and Killarney to attend. Scroll down for photos…
