THE latest production from Mercy Mounthawk Secondary School students opened last night in Siamsa Tire and audiences were very impressed by ‘Big Maggie’.
Directed by Tony Behan, the students did John B. Keane’s classic justice with powerful performances from the cast and wonderful detail in the stage sets.
The students have been rehearsing since September and the hard work and dedication showed on stage in front of a full house.
On Friday morning it was the turn of students from secondary schools around the county to see the play, which is the 17th production the school has staged.
With ‘Big Maggie’ on the Leaving Cert Comparative course, it will no doubt be useful to the students who attended. There are still tickets left for Friday and Saturday nights performances so call Siamsa on 066-7102300 or click here to book online. Scroll down for photos…
