AFTER the beautiful weather of the past two Saturdays, it was disappointingly dull and overcast on the morning of First Holy Communion Day for Holy Family and Presentation school pupils.
It didn’t dampen the spirits of the children though and they had a great day with their families.
There were 26 pupils taking the sacrament in Our Lady and St Brendan’s Church, while 19 Presentation girls made their First Holy Communion in St John’s Church.
The weather stayed dry for the afternoon, so those who hired bouncy castles could hop away to their hearts contents…children and adults alike. Scroll down for photos…
