THE Kerry Science Teachers Association (KSTA) hosted their annual Junior Cert Science Quiz on Thursday at the South Campus of the ITT and it was a Tralee team that came out on top.
The competition is open to all junior cert students in the county and around 20 teams took part in the Kerry Group-sponsored competition.
It was keenly contested and after three rounds of tie-breaks, Presentation Tralee scooped the top two places on the night with St Michael’s College Listowel in third.
The 1st place Presentation team was Orna Costelloe, Rachel O’Sullivan, Rebecca Hayes and Whitney Osayamzhion. The 2nd Place team was Lia O’Connell, Julia Szarota and Ciara O’Mahony. Scroll down for photos…
