IT was well-deserved.
Radio Kerry staff worked their headphones off all last weekend, making sure the people of Kerry were up to speed with all the news from the local elections.
We heard the counts, got expert analysis and listened to stories of triumph and defeat from Tralee and Killarney count centres on Saturday and Sunday as journalists, producers and sound engineers worked overtime to keep the county informed.

Quite right then that they headed out on Friday for a party to celebrate a job well done in Roundys Bar, which is owned by ex-Radio Kerry presenter, Francis Fitzgibbon.
