IT was a day of emotion and optimism for the sixth years of Presentation Secondary on Friday as they enjoyed graduation day.
The 96 students were joined by their families and staff from the school for mass in St John’s Church. Head Girls Eva Dillane and Aine O’Sullivan both gave speeches, as did Principal Chrissie Kelly and Deputy Principal Sandra Moore.
The young ladies then headed back to the school to open the ‘Time Capsules’ they had submitted when they started in first year all those years ago.
There was much cringing and laughter as they compared the letters written by their younger selves. Now it’s back to the books as the Leaving Cert looms in a few weeks and best of luck to them all! Scroll down for photos…
