Kerry returned to action on Saturday when they welcomed Offaly to Hermitage Park, Lixnaw in the Liberty Ireland Premier Junior Camogie Championship.

On a perfect day for camogie, Patrice Diggin had Kerry two points ahead by the 8th minute mark with two frees. Offaly got off the mark in the 13th when No. 11 Dara Hanamy converted a free.

Some excellent play from Niamh Leen and Jackie Horgan put Patrice Diggin through on goal in the 14th minute but she was fouled and she converted the resulting free. Dara Hanamy replied with a free in the 28th.

Points from play from Patrice Diggin and Offaly’s Niamh Kileen left the halftime score at Kerry 0-4 Offaly 0-3.
