THE Rose Hotel was the venue for the Tidy Tralee Awards last night where businesses, estates and individuals were rewarded for their civic spirit.

Joe Moynihan of Tralee Tidy Towns thanked everyone involved for their efforts over the past year gave special thanks to Kerry County Council and the sponsors, Garvey’s Supervalu.

Mayor Terry O’Brien reiterated Joe’s comments and also added that he hoped people would give more time to the town’s efforts to increase their mark next year in the national competition.

Frank Hartnett of Kerry County Council thanked everyone involved and commended all the winners for their efforts.
