ROSE of Tralee Kirsten Mate Maher was in town on Tuesday and Wednesday for a short visit.
She attended the St John of God Services production of ‘Sister’ in Siamsa Tíre last night and this morning she went along to see the services provided in Baile Mhuire Day Care Centre.
Kirsten chatted with the service users, joined them for a few songs and sat in for a while on their art class delivered every Wednesday by members of Tralee Art Group. She said Baile Mhuire was an amazing facility and it really made her day to experience such a welcome there.
Aidan Kelly of Baile Mhuire thanked Kirsten for keeping up the tradition of winning Roses visiting the centre over the years and she was presented with a bouquet of flowers by Chairperson of Baile Mhuire Day Centre, Paddy Garvey. Scroll down for photos…
