“This is our big fundraiser that we do on an annual basis,” said President of Tralee Rotary Club, Derry O’Sullivan. “We’re proud to be associated with Enable Ireland who do so much to improve the quality of life for those living with disabilities and help them partake in all activities in the community.”
Sean Scally of Enable Ireland Kerry was very appreciative of the organisation being chosen.
“It’s great when someone from outside the organisation appreciates the work that we do,” said Sean Scally of Enable Ireland in Tralee.
“It’s wonderful that the members of Tralee Rotary Club picked Enable Ireland’s Kerry services because it’s a great boost for us in terms of publicity and funding when there’s so many other charities out there.”
The black-tie event night began with a drinks reception followed by dinner and music by Renovator. There were some great raffle prizes including a signed Munster jersey donated by Enable Ireland, weekends away, rounds of golf and much more kindly donated by businesses all over Kerry.
