OVER 700 runners took part the Rose of Tralee 10km run and by the looks it, the event is one that is certainly growing more and more in popularity.
Runners included the current Rose of Tralee Maria Walsh, the Born To Run club running as Roses and Escorts, and many new comers running their very first ever race in an event that has become a mainstay in the calendar of many local and non local competitors.
The finish line on Denny Street was certainly to place to be yesterday morning as rapturous supporters and curious onlookers packed and lined the street to welcome in their weary travellers.
