TODAY is marathon day and around 800 runners took off from the Tralee Bay Wetlands centre this morning in less than ideal conditions.
The Kerry’s Eye sponsored event is in its fifth year and attracts runners from all over the county and country.
It was pretty wet when the participants set off at 9.30am on the marathon and half marathon routes, while the 5k and 10k runners began at 10am. Here’s some images of them at the start…
