THE rain stayed away thankfully for the third annual 5k Santa Fun Run which began and finished at the Wetlands on Sunday morning.
Held in memory of Tralee girl Fiona Moore, who died in 2013, hundreds of runners and walkers decked out in festive garb took part in the charity run event which this year is in aid of ‘Heart Children Ireland’.
The route started at the Wetlands, headed out the canal to Blennerville, then turned back in by Kearney’s Road, ending at the Wetlands.
It was a fantastic occasion and much needed funds were raised for the charity.
