SCIENCE week is winding down and the pupils of Holy Family made sure it ended with a bang…well a few eruptions anyway.
The pupils held a exhibition of what they learned in the school hall on Friday morning.
“The pupils were doing various experiments in the classroom for Science Week to hone their skills, so this is a presentation to each other of what they learned,” said Principal Ed O’Brien.
“The sixth class attended a science event in the ITT during the week and they really enjoyed that. But this is really hands-on and they’re seeing the results of their efforts now,” said the Principal.
There was plenty of baking soda and vinegar volcanos, overflowing coke bottle and much more and the pupils really seemed to have fun and learn at the same time. Scroll down for photos…
