THE fourth Tralee 5km Santa Fun Run drew a massive crowd of runners in perfect conditions on Sunday morning.
There was glorious sunshine at the start of the run at the Tralee Bay Wetlands where around 800 people registered, thus raising vital funds for the Barretstown charity.
The race is run annually in memory of Fiona Moore who died at the age of 16 in May 2013 from Pulmonary Hypertension, while waiting on a lung transplant.
Fiona’s parents Deirdre and Martin Moore were there on the day to see the runners off on the route.
To date the Tralee 5km Santa fun run has raised almost €30,000 for three charities which would have benefited Fiona Moore during her illness and you can be sure that has been added to significantly yesterday.
An amazing day, in memory of an amazing girl for an amazing cause. Scroll down for photos…
