A FREE screening of a short film shot in Tralee back in February took place last Thursday at Tralee Omniplex.

‘Abbeyleaks’, produced by local actor/writer man Patrick McDonnell and directed by Philip Briggs, was attended by some of the actors and students from the Kerry ETB Digital Media Centre who worked on the film.

The movie is under 1o minutes long and is about a heist that goes drastically wrong. It was filmed at Mary Street, Lower Abbey Street, Boherbee and near Yummy Cafe back at the beginning of February.

The host for the evening was Patrick McDonnell who thanked everyone who contributed to making the movie and Tralee Omniplex for facilitating the screening. There was also a Q&A session after the film. Scroll down for photos…
