THE Abbey Theatre’s production of ‘Sive’ is proving to be one of the most successful runs in Siamsa in years having sold out all five nights this week.
The premiere took place on Tuesday and was attended by wife of the late John B Keane, Mary.
The Listowel man’s work is one of the greatest Irish plays of the 20th Century and this new production by director Conall Morrison was enjoyed by over 30,000 people during a sell out run at the Abbey Theatre.
It appears its success has spread south, with people from all over the county converging on the Tralee venue.
If you haven’t got a ticket for this dark, powerful story of greed and passion then you’re out of luck.
The run ends on Saturday night and theatregoers are raving about the performances.
