IT was a Galway woman who scooped the top prize at McElligotts Kia Ladies Day at Listowel Races on Friday.
Gemma McDonagh’s stylish outfit impressed the judges — fashion writer Bairbre Power, and Aoife McNamara, Irish fashion designer — enough to win her a trip for two to New York.
She’ll stay at Fitzpatrick’s Hotel in Manhattan and will receive €1,000 spending money during what will be a memorable break. Gemma from Headford in Galway will also have lunch with renowned Kerry fashion designer Don O’Neill on her trip away.
