A BIT of winter snow would have been preferable to the torrential rain outside Kerry College of Further Education on Thursday, but there was a great festive atmosphere as students enjoyed ‘Christmas On Campus’.
McHales Catering who operate the canteen at KCFE kindly subsidised a Christmas lunch of turkey and ham and a dessert for all the students while Santa also made an appearance on a fun afternoon for all.
“We’re delighted that McHales are doing this for the students,” said teacher Mary Murphy. “Our music and dance students also performed during the lunch, while the hotel and catering staff are serving the students at the tables, so it’s a great combination of the skillset here in the college.”
While the students won’t be breaking up for the holidays until next Friday, it was a great way to get students into a festive mood…and enjoy a free meal! Scroll down for photos…
