TRANSITION Year students from both CBS The Green and Presentation Secondary were entertaining audiences this week with a production of a play at CBS.

Anne Fine’s ‘Flour Babies’ was staged on Wednesday and Thursday and was well-attended on both nights.

The play, organised by The Green’s TY students, follows a class of underachievers in an all-boys school tasked with taking care of a bag of flour as if it was a baby, as part of a Science Week project. Of course that’s not as straight-forward as it sounds and it makes for some very funny moments and no little drama.

All TY students were involved in different aspects of the play and  rehearsed diligently to make it a success. Students from other years also got involved while students from Presentation Secondary School also formed some of the cast.

The play was directed by Maeve Burke, who was helped with the production by other teachers. Scroll down for photos…
