THERE was incredible style on and off the catwalk at the Aughacasla NS Fashion Show fundraiser on Friday night in The Rose Hotel.
Co-MC’d by RTE comedy star, Bernard O’Shea and Tralee fashion designer Rebekah Wall, it was a fantastic night of entertainment in aid of the west Kerry school with staff and pupils becoming models for the night alongside the professionals (click here for yesterday’s coverage).
Aughacasla NS, which is located about 15 miles from Tralee, has 92 pupils and has been steadily expanding over the years. There are plans to build a car park to make it safer for pupils to access the grounds from the main road.
It was a huge community effort for the fundraiser, which was the first of such a scale in a number of years. A core committee has been planning the event since August and they encouraged past pupils to get involved in it as well with all ages involved.
