AROUND 120 people from the county’s eight badminton clubs gathered in the Rose Hotel on Saturday night for the Kerry Badminton Association annual social.
Hosted and organised by the Annascaul club, it was an opportunity to reflect on the past year and to officially hand out awards for competitions won around Kerry during the season.
The Kerry Badminton Association has nine clubs — Causeway, Ballyheigue, Listowel, Moyvane, Annascaul, Castleisland (Kingdom), Killarney, Ballybunion and Iveragh — and all were represented on the night.
Guests enjoyed a delicious meal followed by award presentations and entertainment from DJ Tom Mulvihill on what was a great night for the badminton players of Kerry. Scroll down for photos…
