Kerry FC drew 1-1 with Treaty United in Mounthawk Park on Friday in front of another sold-out crowd and they had a lot to cheer early on when Sean Kennedy got on the end of Leo Gaxha’s cross to put the home side ahead after nine minutes.
However, on 31 minutes the Limerick visitors equalised and that proved to be the end of the scoring for the night with both sides coming close to winners on a few occasions.

Fair play to everyone for coming out to support the side who are finding their feet in League of Ireland football and hopefully the sold-out attendances will continue over the coming months.
While the ground was full and everyone is willing the team on, the atmosphere is lacking a little and this was noticeable last night with the away support providing all the chants. They even taunted the home fans on one occasion by singing ‘Shall we sing a song for you’.
We’re sure the ‘Kerry FC Ultras’ are on the case. Maybe designating an area of the ground for like-minded fans to gather every week would generate the same kind of exuberance? All in good time. Anyway, here’s some faces in the crowd last night. Scroll down for photos…
