A GREAT Family Fun Day was held at Ballyseedy Home & Garden Centre in association with the Kerry Branch of Down Syndrome Ireland on Saturday.

Details of the charity partnership, that sees the 17th annual Tour De Munster Charity Cycle once again “share the journey” with Down Syndrome Ireland (DSI) Munster Branches, were officially announced on the day.

Tour de Munster’s annual Partnership Spin coincided with the Charity Partnership Announcement. A new route for the cycle saw the cyclists going west to take in West Kerry’s finest spots through Camp to Annascaul and back to Tralee via Castlemaine.

Back in Ballyseedy there was a barbecue, face-painting, bouncy castles and much more to be enjoyed by families.

This will be the 8th successive year that the national charity has been the beneficiary of popular 600km cycle around the six counties of Munster, which this year takes place from Thursday 10th – Sunday 13th of August.
