A WONDERFUL night featuring the best of local ballad/ folk musicians and singers took place on Friday night at The Ashe Hotel all in aid of two great causes.

The ‘Ballad And Folk Night’ was held to raise funds for Tralee Community Responders and Comfort for Chemo Kerry with singers and bands performing including Spailpín, Flight of Earls, Ronnie Ryan, Sligo & Shenanigans, Joe & Pam, Dreams of Freedom, Declan McTaggart, Rising Tide and more.

It was a fantastic evening for any lover of music and organiser Mary Lynch was delighted with the night, thanking everyone for coming and those who helped her along the way.

“I want to thank Eileen Whelan from Paco, Audrey Moran and Barbara Liston for their help. Willie Kelly of Spailpín was fantastic, he organised all the musicians to come and did great fundraising. The Ashe Hotel has also been amazing,” said Mary. Scroll down for photos…
