AFTER the fine conditions a year ago, the rain pelted down during this year’s Bill Kirby Memorial Walk on St Stephen’s Day in aid of the Palliative Care Unit at University Hospital Kerry.
However, there was still a good turnout despite the horrible conditions outside Kirby’s Brogue Inn on Tuesday morning.
Organised as ever by Michael ‘Fox’ O’Connor, the Mayor of Tralee Norma Foley was among those taking part as Kirby’s Brogue Inn supplied the refreshments for the walkers as always, at a lovely event which is a real St Stephen’s Day tradition. Scroll down for photos…
