PHOTOS: Tess Quarter Market To Have More Stalls This Friday

A NEW market for December saw stallholders set up on Abbey Street and the numbers are set to increase this Friday.

There were food stalls as well as arts and crafts for sale in the area which has become known as Tess Quarter, adding to the festive atmosphere around town.

“We’ve had a steady flow of people visiting the stalls all day,” said David Scott, who is co-ordinating the weekly event.

“We’re set to have 14 or 15 stalls next Friday so it’s growing. The weather was nice today too which helped and surrounding businesses are also getting on board,” he said. The market takes place between 1pm and 7pm again this Friday. Scroll down for photos…
