A TRADITION which began six years ago was renewed last night as a Thanksgiving feast was laid on at The Rose Hotel.
Over 150 guests attended the event which had to be shelved for the past two years because of COVID restrictions. Guests included US visitors to Kerry, ex-pats and their families and locals.
Sadly, Rose Hotel owners Dick and Eibhlín Henggeler could not make it this year, but they did ‘Zoom’ in on the big screen in the dining room to greet guests.

The guests were welcomed with traditional hot punch in the foyer and later made their way to the Lee Suite for a sumptuous feast accompanied by the Macys parade playing on the big screen in the background.
The meal itself featured a poached pear for starters, followed by turkey with all the trimmings and the traditional Thanksgiving desserts included pumpkin pie and pecan pie. Scroll down for photos…
