THREE years is a long time between Rose Balls, so there was a lot of glamour to catch up on at the Kerry Sports Academy at the Munster Technological University campus at Dromtacker last night.
Around 800 guests paid the €200 per head admission price for a night of fine dining and great entertainment, with the gym transformed into a venue worthy of hosting the ball as well as the selection nights on Monday and Tuesday.
MC for the evening was Marty Morrissey, while guests tucked into a meal which included Dingle Gin Cured Goats Bridge Trout and Pork Belly starters, Slow Roasted Hereford Beef and Seared Salted Hake mains and pannacotta and cheesecake desserts, all served with wines.

There was pre-dinner entertainment from ukulele-carrying musicians, jugglers and other performers, while the Conor McKeown Band and a DJ kept the entertainment going into the wee small hours.
