IT stayed dry and that’s what matters!
Memories of the monsoon conditions during last year’s parade were banished on a dry and mild night in Tralee, as the Roses floats winded their way down through town last night.
Daithi O Sé and Rose of Tralee 2016 Maggie McEldowney led the parade with the RTE star working the crowd before the current Roses arrived on their elaborate floats.
There was music from a number of bands, colourful dancers and some performers from Fossetts Circus to entertain the crowds.

There was a wonderful atmosphere throughout it was finished off with a massive dance in front of the Denny Street stage with Roses, Escorts and Rosebuds rocking as Brian Hurley got the crowd warmed up for the spectacular fireworks display.
