MERCY Mounthawk held their annual awards reception for those who obtain the highest grades in Leaving and Junior Certificate exams in 2015 on Saturday.

Eight students were honoured for their grades in the State exams with Principal John O’Roarke, in his speech, pointing out that only 0.6% nationally received 10A’s or more and they had 2.5% of student achieving this at Mounthawk.

In that context, he said the students could be very proud indeed of their achievements. He wished the leaving cert students every success and congratulated their families and thanked their parents for the support they have shown the students and the school over the years.
