TRALEE schools’ athletes were successful at the annual Kerry Schools Cross Country Championships on Friday last.
The Championships took place at the Demesne, Killarney where Tralee CBS won the Shield for the Best Boys School. Presentation Killarney won the Girls’ Shield at the event.
Brothers Sean and Tim Pollman-Daamen of Mercy Mounthawk stole the show, finishing in first and second place in the Junior Boys 3000m, while Eimear O’Sullivan, of Presentation Tralee won the Junior Girls 2000m.
The North Munster Schools Cross Country takes place at Pallaskenry, County Limerick on Thursday, January 26.
South Munster event takes place on Friday 27th January at Tramore Park, Cork.
Munster Schools finals will take place on Thursday 16th February at Tramore Park, Cork.
The Irish Schools Cross-Country Championship will be held on Saturday, March 11 at Mallusk, Belfast. Scroll down for photos…
