THE inaugural Tralee Food Festival had an auspicious start in the Imperial Hotel last night.
Guests enjoyed some delicious seafood from Spa Seafoods who assembled delicious taster plates and held an Oyster demo on its delights.
There was entertainment from a jazz band and it coincided with a well-deserved party for the volunteers who manned the Tourist Kiosk over the summer.
All in all, a fantastic start to the festival. It continues on Saturday with an amazing Taste Trail during the afternoon and a Craft Beer Trail so go to their Facebook page here for more details
