LAST night Tralee Musical Society embarked on a five day run in Siamsa Tíre performing the Andrew Lloyd Webber musical ‘The Beautiful Game’.
This dramatic and powerful West End hit combines sports, politics, and a Romeo and Juliet-style romance.
Set in 1969 Belfast, this Irish story concerns a local young Catholic football team, whose lives are derailed by the Irish Troubles.
The shows will be nightly at 8pm running up to Saturday. The run finishes with one matinee show on Sunday, April 3 at 2.30pm. For ticket information, call Siamsa Tíre on (066) 7123055.
