Michael Diggin will launch his new book called ‘This is Kerry’.

A TRALEE photographer  has a new book that will show the beauty of our county in a whole new light.

Michael Diggin, who has his gallery/shop in 5 Lower Castle Street, has a new book out called ‘This Is Kerry’ which features a whole host of images capturing the beauty of the county.

“This is the Kingdom of Kerry in all its different hues and glory, a unique, exciting yet relaxing and relaxed place with many different elements to it,” is the description of the book on the website.

“From the River Shannon estuary in the north of the county to the Ring of Kerry and Kenmare River in the south, this photographic journey encompasses all of the county, the tranquility of ancient religious sites and vibrant villages and towns,” it continued.

“‘This is Kerry’ clearly shows why Kerry is one of Ireland’s most popular visitor destinations, and is a celebration of its timeless beauty and the remarkable character of its people,” the description reads.

With over 160 pages in the book, there are enough stunning images of our mountainous backdrop and rolling hills.

The book will be published by ‘The Collins Press’  and will cost €15.99 online at the website here and will also be available in all good book shops.
