A LARGE crowd gathered last night at The Rose Hotel for Tralee Tidy Towns awards which honoured, businesses, estates and individuals for their efforts over the past year.

Taking place just a day after hearing the news that Tralee had won its seventh Tidy Towns Gold Medal in a row, Chairman of Tralee Tidy Towns, Joe Moynihan, welcomed all present  and thanked everyone for their efforts throughout the year.

A short film was shown to the audience of various projects undertaken during the past year, including the murals in Milk Market Lane and paintings by secondary school students which currently hang in Denny Lane.
