THE weather stayed fine for a weekend of great racing at Ballybeggan, but it failed to bring big crowds to the racecourse.
Punters enjoyed two days at the Kerry International Horse and Pony Racing event, while families were well catered for with children’s play facilities and a bouncy castle. However, it wasn’t enough to draw bigger local crowds with many of the people attending coming from outside the town.
There was style at the course as Caroline Horgan from Duagh won Best Dressed Lady prize sponsored by Curves and Divas and Dudes on Sunday, with some of the Rose of Tralee contestants also adding some glamour to the occasion on Saturday.
