THE second Dip in the Nip took place on Saturday with around 200 women taking to the sea at Derrymore beach.
The event organised by John and Michaela Edwards of Wild Water Adventures is in aid of Recovery Haven Kerry and Kerry Cancer Support Group.
There was a great atmosphere and an all-female support crew of guards, lifeguards, and marshals were on hand to help the ladies.
The location for the Dip in the Nip was a closely guarded secret with participants only finding out a couple of days before the event.
Dip in the Nip was open to all women over 18 – including those who have experienced cancer themselves, those who are supporting a friend or family member on their cancer journey or those who wanted to remember and honour a loved one who they lost to the disease. Scroll down for photos…
