TEN clubs were represented at the 12th annual Carmel O’Connor Memorial Blitz on Saturday in Na Gaeil GAA grounds.
There were 12 Under 11 teams from Na Gaeil, Austin Stacks, Kerins O’Rahillys, Ballymac (2), Abbeydorney (2), Scartaglin, Duagh, Listowel Emmets, Castleisland Desmonds and Annascaul clubs and they enjoyed a number of games throughout the morning and early afternoon.

“It’s been a great success again and Carmel provided us with lovely weather. Members of her family are also here today. Thanks to the Red Cross and members of the Community Policing Unit for their help,” said one of the organisers, Liz Twomey.
Community Garda Aidan O’Mahony presented medals to all participants while donations were made to the Red Cross. Scroll down for photos…
