PHOTOS: Young People Enjoy Events At MTU During Kerry Science Festival

THE Munster Technological University Tralee campus hosted a range of events for young people as part of the Kerry Science Festival.

This family showcase event on Saturday was a great success with the 650 free places on the array of workshops and shows — taking place safely and spread out over the morning and afternoon — snapped up in advance.

There were a vast array of fun, educational and interactive events for all ages including VR experiences, scientific testing, robotics, Robot Relay Races, and the Marshmallow Challenges.

Kerry Science Festival took place all last week with workshops, science shows, talks, laboratory demonstrations, science walks and other science-related events taking place.

As part of National Science Week, Kerry Science Festival focussed on Creating Our Future, a national conversation between the public, the research community and policy makers – exploring ideas for what scientists in Ireland should explore to create a better future. Scroll down for photos…
