Pat Barry (centre) presents the proceeds of the Stradbally Wren to Con O’Connor and Martin O’Sullivan of Pieta House.

PIETA House in Tralee was the beneficiary of an event held out west over Christmas.

The Stradbally Wren was well-supported and led to a total of €1,600 being raised for the facility at Moyderwell.

A dedicated bunch braved the elements on St Stephen’s day and had great fun keeping the tradition alive while also remembering their friend Ciarán Fitzgerald.

Con O’Connor of Pieta House thanked all those who joined the Wren or who were involved — the talented musicians, bus driver, Pat Barry, Nick and staff at Tomásíns, Nora Flynn for the food and Kennedy’s Coaches for providing the bus.

  1. The number of ads in the articles is ridiculous. Especially on a desktop pc. Massive ads taking up most of the screen. Could you not implement the ads in a more responsive or less intrusive way?
