Eileen had used the service to go for her treatment in Cork University Hospital and really enjoyed her time on the bus and relished the independence it gave her as well as the many friends she made along the way.

Sadly Eileen passed away but one of her wishes was that her family do something to give back to the “bus” and so the idea for the Poker Run was born.

The Run took in towns and villages around North Kerry for the day with over 50 bikers taking part.

The Kerry Cancer Support Group-Kerry Cork Health Link Bus are extremely grateful for their generous donation and continued support.
