Pop Darlings Of The 80s, ABC Join Bill At Killarney Music Festival

IF your a fan of 80s pop then the news gets better and better for you as ABC have been added to the line-up for The Killarney Festival of Music & Food on June 27-28.

Duran Duran are already set to pack in the crowds, but Martin Fry’s charges had some great hits in the 1980s like ‘When Smokey Sings’, Poison Arrow’ and ‘The Look Of Love’ giving them massive success in the pop charts in Ireland the UK and US.

Other acts just announced for the festival are The Young Folk, Oh Emperor, Tucan, Little Hours, Oh Boland and Elastic Sheep.

The family friendly boutique festival will take place at the picturesque Killarney House Demesne on  June 27 & 28.

Over 60 Irish and international musicians and bands will perform at the Killarney Festival of Music & Food include Duran Duran, Jools Holland & his Rhythm & Blues Orchestra featuring Gilson Lavis and guest vocalists Marc Almond, Ruby Turner, Louise Marshall & Mabel Ray, music legend Burt Bacharach, TEXAS, The Proclaimers, The Undertones, Father John Misty, Walking On Cars, Damien Dempsey, Wallis Bird, Mick Flannery, Gemma Hayes, Delorentos, Mundy, Paddy Casey, Declan O’Rourke, The 4 Of Us, Something Happens, Colin Devlin, The Frank & Walters, Morrissey & Marshall,  Daithí, Kormac’s Big Band, Gangs, Steven Sharpe & The Broke Straight Boys, Tracy Bruen, Lloyd Yates, We Banjo 3, Ham Sandwich, Giulia, David Lyttle, Sleep Thieves and Gingerbeard Family. Additional acts will be confirmed in the months leading up to the festival.
