AS part of their Leaving Certificate Vocational Programme (LCVP) programme, students from Presentation Secondary School had their 5th Year LCVP Christmas Trade Fair on Friday in the school.
Twenty-seven students produced, marketed and sold a wide range of products which included chocolate truffles, cup cakes and candy canes.
All students have been working hard over the last few weeks to develop their products. All first year students were invited to attend the event and a fun morning was had by all involved.
Margaret Brick from Connect Magazine was on hand to judge The Best Stand Award and presented the award to the following group: Kayla Donnelly, Emma Smith, Ciara Gaynor, Hannah Mthethwa and Gift Ovbude with their business name Candy Cakes.
The girls used very creative methods of displaying their products by placing candy canes on a miniature Christmas Tree, and decorating their table with Christmas Cheer.
