TWO Presentation Tralee students have been selected to participate in the International Junior Science Olympiad qualifiers.
Michelle Doody, Ballybeggan, Tralee and Ciara Boyd, The Spa, Tralee of Transition year have been selected based on their excellent Junior Cert results in Science and Maths.

The International Junior Science Olympiad is a major international academical competition held annually and the only international academical competition that covers physics, chemistry and biology at the same time.
Top students from each country are selected to the competition and each get a chance to compete with their counterparts from across the globe.
Teachers Ms. Rita O’Donoghue and Ms. Clem O’Keeffe were delighted and proud of the students who will be preparing for the next round over the next few weeks.
Ciara has also been busy preparing an entry application for the BT Young Scientist with classmates so it’s going to be a hectic few weeks.
